A sophisticated hen weekend in Krakow
While known as the cheap beer and dirty vodka capital of Europe, Poland has a lot more to offer as it develops into a vibrant European country – and Krakow is most definitely the place to find it with world-class dining, great wines and luxury bars and accommodation all on offer for a fraction of the price you’d find back home or elsewhere.
Hen Nation have had years of practice organising hen weekends in East Europe and if you’re a little bit beyond plastic willies and L plates then we can give you something a little more sophisticated.
Shake it up a bit
Come along to a belly dancing class a belly dancing class and a local, English-speaking professional will help you work up a little routine in an hour. Don’t worry, she won’t work you too hard. The emphasis will be on having fun – and of course there will be plenty of chances to take some photos.
Cook up a treat
And talking of your belly… I think it’s time we filled it don’t you? Nothing brings a group of ladies together like a good bit of cooking and by making it part of your hen weekend in Krakow means you get the perfect chance to sample some delicious local cuisine as well.
During your cooking class our local guide will escort you where you’ll be handed an apron and a glass of sparkling wine by an English speaking chef who will then spend the next few hours teaching your how to make classic pirogues, beef with mushrooms and something special for desert.
Of course the best part of it all is getting to tuck into it all at the end… just make sure you take plenty of foodie shots for Instagram.
Out into the night
It’s what you came for right? A big night out. But we know dive bars and cheap beer deals aren’t what you’re after! It’s OK because Krakow has grown to be so much more than that as locals have looked to emulate some of the same style found in the likes of Paris and Barcelona.
Let your lovely guide take you out on a guided nightlife tour and you won’t be disappointed. Give her an idea of your tastes and she’ll take you on a whirlwind tour of some of the most glamour cocktail bars and gorgeous wine bars this city has to offer.
Your first round is on us and between sips your guide will be sure to give you a low down on what local lads enjoy. Trust us, their a bit more well-to-do than you might have imagined, but don’t worry, a few words in Polish will go a long way 😉
